At least 73 civilians, including women and children, were injured on Tuesday following a wave of drone and missile strikes launched by Yemen's Houthi movement against southern Saudi Arabia. According to statement details released by Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al Malki via the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the bombardment targeted residential areas and economic infrastructure in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran. The Saudi Ministry of Energy reported that the strikes ignited fires across several energy facilities, leading to a temporary suspension of operational activities while emergency teams contained the blazes. The Saudi Foreign Ministry condemned the strikes as a direct threat to national security and reaffirmed its right to take all necessary measures to defend its sovereignty.
